Shakespeare in Love” – 11/24-12/17
This adaptation of the Oscar-winning screenplay features live musicians and tells of young Will Shakespeare, who has writer’s block until he finds his muse, Viola. Israel Vibration – 11/26
The positive vibes emanating from Israel Vibration’s reggae harmony

Tam Valley’s Jolly Jingles– 12/2

Art of the Spirit – 12/1-29
How does the “spirit” move an artist to create? PAAM Holiday Spectacular – 12/2-3
Celebrate the holidays with Performing Arts Academy of Marin! A re-imagining of PAAM’s original production, “A Scarf in Union Square,” features performers ages 4-18 and puts you in the spirit of the season with classic melodies and dynamic choreography. Holiday Craft Fair – 12/2
More than 55 new and returning artists showcase their fine handmade arts and crafts, including woodwork, jewelry, glasswork, ceramics and much more. This celebratory evening of choral music features Throckmorton Chorus, which began in 2014 and was inspired by Bay Area master accompanist, teacher and composer Joe Bloom, with special guest teen a cappella group, Throckappella. Singers Marin’s Holiday Concert – 12/17
A Bay Area holiday tradition for more than 20 years, this “Tis the Season, Peace on Earth” concert is an uplifting chance to celebrate the season with family and friends. “Snow White: A Holiday Panto” – 12/22-30

Narada’s Annual Holiday Jam – 12/16
Narada Michael Walden Foundation’s 21st Annual Holiday Jam features

Christmas Jug Band – 12/18-19
A small group of pals living in Mill Valley in the 1970s with a penchant for Kentucky bourbon started weekly Appalachian-style jug jams. “Beat the Rush to 2018” – 12/30
You can stay home on New Year’s Eve because you already celebrated. That’s the mantra of this unique comedy event, a benefit for O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, featuring a diverse array of comics, including Rita Abrams, Geoff Bolt and Margery Kreitman, among others. Started in 1998 “without a clue what we were doing,” Lucero’s members got tired of the punk rock and metal diet and wanted to try their hand at country songs, or do their best Tom Waits/Pogues impersonation. The Mill Valley Chamber Music Society presents a group that has been lauded as “one of America’s finest young chamber groups” by Strad Magazine and is sought after for its thrillingly virtuosic and richly communicative performances. “Skeleton Crew” – 1/25-2/18

Join friends and neighbors for a fun fundraiser that is guaranteed to be another Tam Valley classic. “Hands on Tam” Work Day – 2/3
Four times a year, all of the One Tam partner organizations that serve as stewards of Mount Tam host joint work day events. Having tackled “Annie,” “Sound of Music” and “Charlie & the Chocolate Factory” over the past three years, the Middle School’s Cabaret dives into the world of Dorothy, Toto, Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow – with some creative twists.
