The wait is over— Woander Store is officially opening its doors, and we’d love for you to celebrate with us! Woander is a family play store featuring family friendly games and storytelling products that is opening in downtown Mill Valley at 73 Throckmorton on April 19th! Come celebrate with us at our ribbon cutting ceremony at 12pm, then stay and enjoy the magic ‘til 5pm! There will be a live magic show, open gameplay, puppet greeters and a puppet making activity. Meg MacLeod is a contemporary, mixed media, abstract painter based in Sausalito where she is a member of the ICB Artist Association, and she’s been chosen as the Mill Valley Chamber’s selection as Artist of the month for April, with Artwalk next Tuesday, April 1, from 5:30-7:30. MacLeod will be showcasing her work at the Mil Valley Chamber First Tuesday ArtWalk is next Tuesday, April 1, from 5:30-7:30. MacLeod’s work is inspired by innovation through spontaneity, the universality of intuition, and the spirit of adventure which often leads her to remote, international destinations.

There’s something for everyone, and your horizons are about to expand exponentially.”
The Ever-Resilient, Always Creative Grace Kraaijvanger, Founder of The Hivery Co-Working Space, Has Revived Her Business and Has Opened Her Doors for Members!
Kraaijvanger remained resilient as always. But guess what!?! She has pivoted once again, this time in a new space on Miller Ave. “I couldn’t ignore the constant drumbeat of how much our community missed having a space to connect,” she says. “I couldn’t ignore how untethered people are feeling right now. How we need a sense of belonging in our lives. How we yearn for joy, beautiful space, and a hug.” They opened their doors in late March!
Renowned Pianist Larry Vuckovich Is Set Perform at the Mill Valley Community Church Alongside Guitarist Kai Lyons on Sunday, April 27th, 4-6pm
“We go back a number of years having developed a wide-ranging repertoire and also have a close music chemistry,” Vuckovich says. “Kai is an amazing young man who travels regularly performing in Cuba, Brazil, Europe, Morocco and other places. He is one of the most versatile guitarists anywhere – he and I have a wide-ranging repertoire spanning the areas of swinging Bebop/Afro-Cuban Latin/Brazilian/World Music including a touch of Middle Eastern – North African, down-home and funky boogaloo blues rhythms, tango jazz + more.
The Mountain Play Association Announces a $100,000 Match Challenge Fundraising Campaign as a Group Group of Mountain Play Supporters Pledge to Match up to $100K in Donations
The Mountain Play is currently holding listening sessions and conducting a survey to collect valuable insights from the community to help build a new and stronger business model. However, it is crucial that the nonprofit have the financial wherewithal to embark on their work, despite having no full-sized spring production to generate earned revenue. This campaign is being matched by a group of Mountain Play supporters who will match 100% of donations up to $100,000.
