The party’s not over – but it is on hold.

Organizers of the 39th Annual Mill Valley Wine, Beer and Gourmet Food Tasting, one of Mill Valley’s iconic events and a benefit for Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation and the Mill Valley Chamber, have postponed the event from its scheduled date of June 7 because of the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak and the resulting shelter in place order, which extends at least through May 3.

This landmark event, sponsored by Mill Valley Market since 1981, features wine from more than 65 premium wineries, fine craft beers from 15 breweries and food from nearly 30 food purveyors and 10 local restaurants and chefs.

It is postponed to September 2020 and may be reconfigured to “provide an opportunity for the community to gather, fingers crossed, to celebrate Mill Valley’s bounty of great food, drink and boundless energy and creativity,” says Mill Valley Chamber Co-Director Paula Reynolds. “While we’re disappointed to put this incredible event on hold for now, we can’t wait to all get together again and celebrate the amazing place we get to call home.”

Those of you who have already purchased tickets to the event may request a refund here or choose to turn it into a donation.
