The Homestead Valley Community Center, which encompasses the Center, the grounds and meadow, the pool, and the great room facility, is set to debut a new event in town: Teddy Bear Tea.

“Create a new holiday tradition this year in Mill Valley!” says Amy Torrano, the general manager at the Homestead center. “Children are invited to gather for a Teddy Bear Tea at the Homestead Valley Community Center and enjoy a special experience of hot chocolate or tea and scones, teddy bear sweet treats and assorted sandwiches. There will be a fun activity and a holiday story! Each child will receive a teddy bear gift and keepsake photo to take home.”

The event is set for Saturday, Dec. 10, with 10am and 1pm seating times. The event is $50 per guest. Reserve your seat by Nov. 11.

The Homestead Valley Community Center is at 315 Montford Avenue.

Torrano adds: “A lot of people don’t know this, but it’s not just for Homestead Valley residents, but for the entire Mill Valley community. The pool area has been recently renovated including all new changing rooms and showers. The meadow is where the Homestead Valley Music Festival happens. We also have a camp called Camp Funderblast. There’s so much here for the community at large.”
