Putting On Our Best Face: Clean Mill Valley Remains Vigilant on Reducing Litter, Garners Kudos from CalTrans’ Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator
Eleven years after a group of local activists got together to address the abundance of litter in town, Clean Mill Valley, powered by a group of dedicated volunteers, have all long been dedicated to improving the appearance of our town and preserving our natural environment. In recent years, Clean Mill Valley has focused intently on its Adopt-a-Spot program, in which they focus on a particular area. Residents have surely spotted longtime tireless volunteers removing litter, weeding and more. Count Michael Jevicky, CalTransā District 4 Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator, among them.

Clean Mill Valley is joining Marinās Performing Stars, the Marin Housing Authority (MHA), Golden Gate Village, the Marin County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (MCSTOPPP), the Conservation Corps North Bay, along with a number of other local and county agencies and community partners.
