To celebrate downtown Mill Valleyās recent makeover, restaurants around the plaza are uniting to host a one-week Restaurant Rally. The promotion encourages diners to discover all the new restaurants along the square, as well as revisit their old favorites. Restaurants will offer diners a special 3-course prix fixe menu for $55 (September 10-17),Ā as well as an $8 specialty cocktail to complement their meal.

When stores are not willing to sign a citizenās arrest form, it presents a challenge because of a legal requirement that bars officers from making an arrest for a misdemeanor crime that occurred outside their presence, Mill Valley police Lt. Shaun McCracken told the IJ. The law also requires victims to identify the suspect and request a citizenās arrest for the violation, he said.
