Chabad Mill Valley, MV Public Library Team Up for ‘Storytelling & Challah!’ Event ā Sept. 21
On Sept. 21, that tradition continues when Chabad Mill Valley, the local chapter of one of the largest Hasidic groups and Jewish religious organizations in the world, teams up with the Mill Valley Public Library to celebrate Rosh HashanahĀ ā theĀ JewishĀ New Year, aĀ two-dayĀ observance and celebration that begins on the first day ofĀ Tishrei.

As usual, the giant rainbow slide was the main attraction for the kiddos, while a fantastic lineup of singers, dancers and musicians to perform throughout the day, includingĀ the Tam High Jazz Ensemble, Happy Feet Dance School, Natalia Betzler & Marin Conservatory of Dance.Ā Chabad Mill Valley’s Brooklyn shop and community space led the lighting of a huge ice menorah amidst the eight days of Hanukkah.

Chabad Mill Valley’s celebration of the season kicks off Wed., Dec. 1 at 5:30pm at its Brooklyn space, followed one day later with a grand menorah lighting in downtown Tiburon at 5:30pm. They cap it off with a lighting of the first-ever ice-sculpted menorah at Winterfest at 4:30pm.
