Murphy Productions, the acclaimed firm from Daniel Patrick and Erma Murphy, has been home to some of the most creative events in Marin for years.

They’re hosting a pair of enchanting events over the Halloween weekend this month, starting with Contemporary Opera Marin, the opera program at College of Marin featuring director Paul Smith and presenting “Devilish Delights 2,” music theater combining works by the two great master of late 20th century composition, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Mauricio Kagel. One day later, they’re hosting “Sunday Salon: Magic, Mystery and a bit of Mayhem” at O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, 616 Throckmorton Ave. Meet at 4pm, show at 5. $15. Bring a sack supper for you, & beverages to share. Tickets
