Tricia Wiig, the church’s Children, Youth and Families Minister, says the six-week Parent Wellness Circle will help participants gain insights into their own wellness and focus on areas where they want to grow and make changes as a parent. “Need some support? Or inspiration? Or just want to gather with a group to remember you’re not alone? says Wiig.
Parent Wellness Circle participants gather with a facilitator to: 1) Assess their own wellness 2) Discuss important parenting lessons 3) Support each other as they work on next steps 4) Share the joys and challenges of being a parent and 5) Build community.
Sessions take place in the church lounge Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9pm, Feb. 25-Mar. 31. Cost is $15 for the entire 6 sessions. All faiths or none are welcome. RSVP to email@example.com.
The church has set its “Peace Camp” for kids for the week of June 22-26, 9am-3pm, with extended care (8:30-5:30). Ages 5-12.
