Let’s start with the obvious: we profile Chamber Members and friends on the Enjoy Mill Valley Blog, our various social channels and just about everywhere we can leverage to highlight the amazing people who make the place in which we reside so creative, innovative, intellectually curious and just plain fun.

That said, we are happily biased when it comes to the one and only Danna Lewis, who serves as our Director of Business Development & Stakeholder Experience, that is, making sure that are constantly identifying businesses that want be a part of the multi-faceted Mill Valley Chamber, and to make sure that their experience meets their needs.

But there is much more. Lewis recently put out the second edition of her book, The Indisputable Gift of Men (DreamSculpt Books)-  Embark on a heartwarming, transformative journey with Danna Lewis as she redefines the landscape of dating and relationships. “If you loved Eat Pray Love; if you’ve ever struggled in the area of personal relationship; and if you hunger for a fun summer read that will delight all year long, this book is for you. Danna Lewis is hilarious, raw, honest about her wild journey with men. Spoiler alert: if you’re looking for a book that will bash men, this ain’t it. She says she hopes that women who read it will release resentment, increase gratitude, and multiply enjoyment of and with men. In reaching a bountiful moment in her career, Lewis acknowledges plenty of bumps along the way and says she’s thriving because of and not in spite of those challenges.

“The most valuable thing I have ever done and continue to do is seeing a life coach,” she says. “To thrive, people need that support and accountability and the tools – it’s intensely, deeply personal development work.”

Born in New Jersey and raised in Florida with stops in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Lewis spent summers and spring breaks in Marin during her middle and high school years, living with her brother, who is 10 years her senior. He worked for Bill Graham Productions and took his sister to Grateful Dead shows and more. So when Lewis turned 18, her return to the Bay Area wasn’t much of a surprise. “I absolutely loved being here,” she says. “I was very rebellious.”

Work brought her back to the East Coast, primarily in Florida and New York City, until she moved to the Bay Area long-term in 2007. It was on the heels of her most recent role, as chief operating officer at a Bay Area startup, that Lewis found herself both professionally burnt out and at the end of a four-year relationship.

Then she heard from a publisher and literary agent: “Hey, do you have a book in you?” Little did the agent know that Lewis had been working on such a book in her spare time for ages. “The book was written in 2008 and I just wasn’t ready to finish it,” she says. “I’m so glad. It’s so much better now. It’s a personal leadership book for women and it’s about empowering yourself but also embracing men. Personal leadership and drawing on all of those experiences is the the foundation of everything I do.”

Over the course of the past two years, Lewis had the opportunity to interview a range of local business people, including Kelly Martin, Family Services Counselor at Fernwood Cemetery and Funeral Home, Marin Magazine’s Sharon Coleman the Incomparable Richard Habib of Alexander’s Artisan Rugs, Compass Real Estate Agents Kathleen Clifford and Jan Hiti and Investment Advisor and Realtor Mark Schneeberger,

In addition to the above, Lewis is a talented, purpose-driven executive, trusted advisor, and acclaimed author whose spiritual journey has been the driving force behind her integrity and actions since 2005. With over 25 years of diverse business experience, Lewis excels in managing educational programs, scaling growth, and leading cross-functional teams in operations, sales & marketing, and product development. Her expertise spans environments ranging from startups to Fortune 50 companies across various industries.

Lewis’ recent work includes serving as a Course Manager for The Shift Network, Strategic Advisor for Coherence Education. Her prior literary contributions feature co-authoring three Amazon best-selling books on conscious leadership: The Energy of Receiving, The Energy of Creativity, and Relationships Done Easy. The Indisputable Gift of Men is her first solo project.

“My biggest blessing during the last few years has been my job as a Course Manager at The Shift Network,” she says. “We produce 120+ courses a year for personal growth and spiritual development. I have personally managed over 100 courses under the topics of dream interpretation, Shamanism, energy medicine, energy psychology, science and spirituality, breathwork, somatic movement, and more.”

“And, what I can tell you unquestionably and unequivocally is that in all of these teachings, that come from every corner of the world, some around for thousands of years, and some with scientific research backing them, is that Love is the gravity,” Lewis adds. “The energy of divine love is the gravity that always speaks the truth, provides the space for healing, and always creates something greater than what currently exists.”

Lewis is also  the visionary behind the Luscious Leadership brand, where she integrates her business acumen and spiritual insights into conscious leadership with practical tools for personal and professional growth. “Luscious Leadership embodies a deeply fulfilling approach to guiding, influencing, and directing oneself with empowered effectiveness.” Lewis extends the brand through her podcast, “Luscious Leadership,” which boasts over 140 episodes.
