Despite having 85% of Marin County residents over the age of 12 fully vaccinated, we all got a stark reminder Friday that we are far from out of the COVID-19 woods. Marin County Public Health Officer Dr. Matt Willis locked arms with six of his fellow Bay Area counties in making a strong recommendation for everyone to wear a mask in indoor settings going forward.

In the past three years (and slightly less so in the many decades before), there’s been a global recycling crisis. In the years since that move, which essentially shut down what had been the industry’s biggest market, China’s plastics imports plummeted massively.
