The 2024 Mill Valley Music Fest Turns Three, Unveils a Leveled Up Lineup and Returns to Friends Field For a Two-Day Celebration of Arts, Culture & The Bay ā May 11-12

In the Mill Valley Market instance, employees delayed and detained the suspect after they tried to flee. Ryan Canepa, a manager and co-owner of the store, said that his staff hasnāt noticed a spike in thefts during past holidays. He said the staff hasnāt changed its policy of detaining suspected thieves. āWe always tried to catch people who steal from us,ā Canepa said.

Longtime Mill Valley-based indie record label Bright Antenna, founded by novelist and filmmaker Tiffanie DeBartolo in 2007, has been curating and spotlighting fantastic bands in the Bay Area and well beyond the region. DeBartolo is set to collaborate with another Mill Valley music dynamo with a showcase of two Bright Antenna bands ā Windser and Akira Galaxy ā at the Sweetwater Music Hall on Dec. 11th.

The company received court approval for exiting lease, sublease and license agreements at 69 locations, according to a court filing. The Mill Valley site isnāt on the list, but four others in the Bay Area are, including four in San Francisco and one in Oakland, are, according to the North Bay Business Journal.

Dana Brechwald, a climate official at the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission, stepped into that breach last month, telling the Marin County Board of Supervisors that Marin County is facing about $17 billion in expenses to protect itself from the rising sea, the second highest cost estimate in the Bay Area, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
