DjangoFest Mill Valley takes over the Throckmorton for four unforgettable days of world-class Gypsy Jazz. From September 24-27, an exceptional lineup of internationally acclaimed artists from across the U.S. and Europe come together for a celebration of the music of Django Reinhardt.

FROM GERMANY TO DJANGOFEST MILL VALLEY: GISMO GRAF

German Sinti guitarist and composer Gismo Graf is widely recognized as one of the leading virtuosos of a new generation of Gypsy Jazz and has built an international career performing across Europe, the United States and Asia.

Graf has appeared on some of the genre’s most celebrated stages, including the legendary Festival Django Reinhardt in Samois-sur-Seine, France, as well as major jazz and Django festivals throughout Europe and the U.S. His extraordinary musicianship has brought him alongside some of the foremost names in the genre, including Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Tim Kliphuis and Stephane Wrembel.
