This time Baez, the folk music icon is working with Seager and Gray, her Mill Valley gallery representatives, to offer 100 prints of Baez’s portrait of her sister, the late Mimi Fariña, for a suggested donation of $1,000 each to benefit Bread & Roses, the nonprofit Fariña founded, Bread & Roses Presents. The organization’s mission is to bring “hope, healing and joy through live music and the performing arts to children, adults and seniors who are disadvantaged, marginalized, or otherwise isolated in diverse institutional settings in the San Francisco Bay Area.”
