The beloved outdoor arts gathering takes over Old Mill Park on September 19–20, 2026, bringing together fine art, live music, and food.

The festival runs Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Old Mill Park in downtown Mill Valley, situated roughly 45 minutes north of San Francisco. The park’s old-growth redwood canopy is filled with art, making for a unique and beautiful festival location.
Live music performances are scheduled throughout both days, and attendees can also expect a lineup of food and drinks from local restaurants during the festival. General admission tickets cost $23.18, including fees, but you can also add a wine tasting for a total of $39.19.
A community event approaching seven decades
At 69 years old, the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival stands as a cornerstone event in Marin County’s cultural calendar. The event first debuted in 1957, with a group of small artists exhibiting their works in shop windows. From there, the festival grew and moved into the redwood grove in Old Mill Park.
“The heart of the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival has always been our artists and our community,” said MVFAF President Liz Lauter. “For nearly 70 years, this festival has brought people together through creativity, connection, and the unique magic of gathering beneath the redwoods.”
Full ticketing details and the artist lineup are available on the official festival website.
