100Marin, a members-only circle of like-minded, philanthropic individuals who are dedicated to enhancing the support and awareness of Marin County nonprofits, is reviving its annual awards ceremony after going virtual in 2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis. The event is set for Oct. 6 at the Jonas Center  at College of Marin Indian Valley campus.

In 2017, 100Marin doled out their annual award to Bloom, the nonprofit organization that provides free wardrobes and life skills training to men, women and families transitioning to a life of self-reliance and looking for a job.

Founded in January 2015, 100Marin also announced that it is co-producing the event in partnership with the Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) to co-produce this event. CVNL has advanced nonprofits and volunteerism by strengthening leadership, encouraging innovation, and empowering individuals in our communities for nearly 60 years.

By joining forces, 100MARIN and CVNL will be able to expand our collective reach, educate and engage more individuals about philanthropy and social change, and connect members to charities, their communities, and each other.

We’re very excited about this new partnership and can’t wait to roll-up our sleeves in service of our shared vision: nonprofits champion, protect, and advance our community — when they are recognized and supported for their work, we all benefit.
