The Outdoor Art Club continues its series of free, virtual, thought-provoking workshops with a talk by Mill Valley resident Diana Williams, who in 2014 founded Prison to Employment, a non-profit that helps incarcerated men at San Quentin transition to employment upon release. The program boasts an astonishing recidivism rate of 1%, far less than California’s statewide rate of 60%.
Williams and two men who graduated from this groundbreaking program will discuss the difference it has made in the lives of men re-entering society after incarceration.
The virtual OAC event is set for Thursday, April 1 at 1pm via Zoom.
