With two distinctive writers at its core and an eclectic sound that draws on folk, country, Americana, English Folk, and bluegrass traditions, CBD plays with the ease of old friends and the spark of something new. Gorgeous Hanging Baskets Come to Downtown Mill Valley – Thanks to the City of Mill Valley, the Beautification Brigade, Green Jeans, Susie Turner of Green Door Design and All Who Worked to Make It a Reality!!

The City purchased the baskets from the amazing Green Jeans and and the equally amazing Susie Turner of Green Door Design, (along with a college student, Mia) are handling the watering.Ā “Huge thank you goes out to Mill Valley Chamber for its donation of $3k to this project which covers the costs of the baskets, hardware and water sprayer,” Joachim says. “We sincerely appreciate your support and faith that the Beautification Brigade could get it done!”

“10 years ago, I happened to find myself in The Image Flow in Mill Valley and saw a brochure about their first Cuba Photographic Workshop that was coming up and I immediately sign up! That’s when I experienced for the first time ā€œThe Allure of Cubaā€.Ā  I’ve been to Cuba three times and Viet Nam once and Southern India once on photographic workshops, but my real education started when I joined the Marin Photo Club nine years ago. Numerous club photo classes and competitions, field trips and photo show opportunities helped me get to where I am now.”

Mill Valley Announces the 2025Ā MilleyĀ Creative Achievement Honorees, Highlighting Honorees at the Mill Valley Community Center – Oct. 26th

Seven accomplished Mill Valley residents will be honored at an elegant program and buffet supper from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 27 at the Mill Valley Community Center. The six will receive bronze statuettes designed by the late sculptor John Libberton. Mill Valley is the only city in Marin County that officially recognizes the talents and achievements of people in the arts.
