A wide range of organizations are coming together to spearhead a Community Wide Clean Up in Marin City on Friday, April 22 (10am-8pm) and Saturday, April 23 (10am-3pm). Clean Mill Valley is joining Marinās Performing Stars, the Marin Housing Authority (MHA), the Marin County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (MCSTOPPP), the Conservation Corps North Bay, along with a number of other local and county agencies and community partners.

Well, that was uneventful. The City of Mill Valley’s scheduled June 7th City Council election was canceled last week due to a lack of candidates for the three open positions on the five-member council. City officials estimated that scrapping the vote will save the city $45,000 in election expenses.
