Bay Area Unemployment Rates in the North Bay Decreased, as Bay Area Lost Thousands of Jobs in June
The unemployment rate in Marin County was 4.1% in July, up from a revised 3.8% in June. The countyās unemployment rate in July 2023 was 3.4%. The county added jobs in construction, trade, transportation and utilities, leisure and hospitality. Fewer jobs were available in government.

Thatās when I experienced for the first time āThe Allure of Cubaā.Ā Iāve been to Cuba three times and Viet Nam once and Southern India once on photographic workshops, but my real education started when I joined the Marin Photo Club nine years ago. Numerous club photo classes and competitions, field trips and photo show opportunities helped me get to where I am now.”

The pandemic only turbo-charged the pre-COVID trend away from theaters in favor of home-based entertainment media. In the first half of 2020,Ā Netflix added more than 26 million subscribers. So when shuttered theaters reopened, audiencesĀ ā specifically American audiencesĀ ā did not rush back in droves.
