Mill Valley Chamber Once Again Is Set to Showcase the Artwork of Tam High Students in Zachary Gilmour’s Drawing and Painting Class in May – ArtWalk is Tuesday, May 6th, 5:30–7:30pm!

Longtime Tam High art teacher Zachary Gilmour, who is largely responsible for supporting the array of creative artwork from his students that ends up being showcased each year, is showcasing his students’ drawing and painting work on the walls of the Mill Valley Chamber’s space at 85 Throckmorton Ave., including a reception on May 6th, 5:30-7:30 as part of the Mill Valley Arts Commission’s First TuesdayĀ Artwalk. The student’s work focuses on “In Our Community.”Ā Acrylic paintings on canvas by Intermediate Drawing & Painting. Students were asked to paint anĀ acrylicĀ painting of a member of ourĀ community. Students chose teachers, school staff members, coaches, people who work in local businesses, and family.

The wait is over— Woander Store has officially opened its doors! Woander is a family play store featuring family friendly games and storytelling products that opened in downtown Mill Valley at 73 Throckmorton on April 19th! Lots of supporters and on-lookers celebrated the event with a ribbon cutting ceremony, with lots of fun and magic all afternoon.
