Looking for a great holiday gift? Never fear, during the first 20 days of December you can get both your workout and shopping done! MV Recreation hosts local craftsmen, artisans, knitters and more to sell their creative wares to the community. Each day is a different vendor.

For 50+ years, Del McCoury’s music has define authenticity for hard core bluegrass fans as well as a growing number of fans among those only vaguely familiar with the genre. McCoury is something special and still a commandingly vital presence today. Tix $37-$47.

Singers Marin, the local nonproft performing
arts organization for youth ages 4-18 and
adults, hosts its 20th annual holiday concert,
“‘Tis the Season…Candlielight Magic,” at the
Marin Center. Tix are $20, $25 and $35 and
half-price for students.

The Christmas Jug Band

A small group of pals living in Mill Valley in the
1970s with a penchant for Kentucky bourbon
started weekly Appalachian-style jug jams.
More than 30 years later, “a momentary lapse
of sanity” long been a holiday tradition. Don’t

Health & Wellness Fair & Family Fun Run

MV Recreation’s annual celebration of health, wellness and fun descends on the Community Center. The event kicks off at 8:30am with the competitive 3-mile race on the Multi-Use Path, while the Health & Wellness Fair begins at 10am. Don’t miss the toddler obstacle course. Free.

Crab Feed

Join friends and neighbors for another fun
gathering. This fundraiser is guaranteed to be
another Tam Valley classic. Your ticket price
includes all the crab you can eat, beer, macaroni,

The Little Mermaid

This adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen
classic tells the story of beautiful mermaid Ariel

of The Band, Rick Danko and Levon Helm Band,

August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean

Set in 1904 Pittsburgh, Gem of the Ocean
begins August Wilson’s 10-play century cycle
dramatizing the African American experience
during the 20th century – an unprecedented
series that includes the Pulitzer Prize winning

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

Renowned Egyptologist Dirk Carlton tells of his
discovery of Pharaoh Menkaura’s tomb and its
precious jewel “The Eye of Uadjit.” But all goes
wrong when the professor is murdered and the
eye disappears. Who did it? It’s up to you to
solve the crime. Tix are $30 and include dinner.
