Looking for a great holiday gift? Never fear, during the first 20 days of December you can get both your workout and shopping done! MV Recreation hosts local craftsmen, artisans, knitters and more to sell their creative wares to the community. Each day is a different vendor.

Del McCoury Band

For 50+ years, Del McCoury’s music has define authenticity for hard core bluegrass fans as well as a growing number of fans among those only vaguely familiar with the genre. McCoury is something special and still a commandingly vital presence today. Tix $37-$47.

First Tuesday Artwalk Reception
The Arts Commission’s monthly celebration of art spans a host of venues, including O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, MV Chamber & Visitor Center, Julie Tuton, Terrestra, the Depot, City Hall, Famous4, Zener Schon and the Community Center. Don’t miss Zener Schon Contemporary Art’s “Select Group Holiday Show.”

More than 55 vendors showcase their handmade
items at the Community Center. This 11th annual event, sponsored by Mill Valley Recreation and the Mill Valley Seniors’ Club, also features holiday music and tasty baked goodies. Free.

Singers Marin’s 20th Annual Holiday Concert
Marin Center: Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium
Singers Marin, the local nonproft performing
arts organization for youth ages 4-18 and
adults, hosts its 20th annual holiday concert,
“‘Tis the Season…Candlielight Magic,” at the
Marin Center. Tix are $20, $25 and $35 and
half-price for students.
